Yesterday, Gov. Evers signed two bipartisan bills that address per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in Wisconsin. This legislative package restructures PFAS liability under Wisconsin’s remediation law, creates multiple PFAS grant and financial assistance programs, imposes new permitting and monitoring requirements and releases more than $130 million in previously allocated funding.
