Overview
Nick is an associate in the tax practice group, bringing a unique combination of research and legal experience. Previously, Nick worked as a law librarian at several law schools, the federal judiciary, and Michael Best. In those positions he conducted sophisticated legal research and taught courses on the subject.
In addition to his research background, Nick has gained practical legal experience through internships and clerkships. At the Oregon Tax Court, he researched and drafted legal memoranda, orders, and decisions, contributing directly to the court's operations. He also interned at a Portland-based law firm, where he assisted with executive compensation matters, gaining valuable experience in tax and corporate law.
